Dennis Gano has been involved in association management for more than thirty years. As Executive Director/CEO for the Illinois Security Professionals Association, he is both responsible and accountable for the administration and management of ISPA. The position is appointed by and directly responsible to the Board of Directors. He manages the day-to-day functions of the association, within his fiduciary responsibilities he prepares and proposes annual budgets and monitors all association financial assets and assists with strategy and execution of the organizations vision and mission. In his free time, Dennis enjoys spending time with his seven grandchildren. Dennis received the Certified Association Executive (CAE) credential from the American Society of Association Executives in 2003, and is one of approximately 4,000 association executives world-wide to hold this credential. He was also recognized by the National Association of REALTORS with the REALTOR® with their REALTOR Certified Executive designation in 2003.
