Awards Nominations Now Open 2025

The culminating event for 2025 is the Annual Awards Gala! This is an ongoing tradition since 1961 and serves as the Illinois Security Professionals Association's cornerstone recognition event. The Gala brings together more than 400 people engaged in the fields of private security, law enforcement, fire life safety, emergency management and homeland security along with many friends and family members. We gather to celebrate and honor the achievements of industry professionals who have gone above and beyond in the performance of their duties during 2025. During this event, we recognize the best of the best and honor two outstanding  individuals with the Lindberg Bell Security Executive of the Year Award, and the Laurence P. Mulcrone Lifetime Achievement Award.

For industry partners, the Awards Gala is a once-a-year opportunity to participate as a supporting sponsor in an environment that celebrates and encourages the achievements of the professions of private security, law enforcement, fire life safety, emergency management and homeland security.

Nominations for 2025 Awards are now being accepted. Nominations can be submitted as either individual or as a group. Group awards are designed for two or more people being nominated for the same incident and award.
